2014 Sakura Matsuri in D.C.

Today was the best day ever!!! I went to the 2014 Sakura Matsuri in D.C. with my friend. I got my picture taken with some cosplayers, I bought a beautiful geisha doll, I got my name written in Japanese. and saw a J-Rock band perform live!! The bad thing is that I only had $20 on me when I went and the Metro was a hassle trying to get a Farecard to get there and back home. I even got my picture taken with a Roxas cosplayer and that was the best moment ever!! I had a really great time, plus I made a new friend! Before we got to the festival, we walked along the Waterfront. Next, we visited the Martin Luther King Jr. Memorial. Then, we saw the parade on the way to the entrance to the festival. The marching bands were really awesome, especially the US Marines marching band. However, there were also clowns in the parade and I really don't like clowns. But, other than that, I had the best time of my life! Nothing else will ever top it!

Right now, unfortunately, I have such a bad headache because of being exposed to the heat while walking for 4 hours without nothing to eat except since I had breakfast.
